Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs Recipe

Deliciously creamy deviled eggs loaded with crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and a hint of paprika. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or a flavorful snack.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp smoked paprika, plus more for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a medium-sized pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to an ice bath. Let them cool for 5-10 minutes before peeling.
  3. Carefully peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  4. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
  5. Gently fold in the crumbled bacon, reserving a small amount for garnish.
  6. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves. Sprinkle with reserved bacon, additional smoked paprika, and chopped chives, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
