Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs Recipe
Deliciously creamy deviled eggs loaded with crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and a hint of paprika. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or a flavorful snack.
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 3 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp smoked paprika, plus more for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh chives for garnish
Instructions
- Place the eggs in a medium-sized pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to an ice bath. Let them cool for 5-10 minutes before peeling.
- Carefully peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
- Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
- Gently fold in the crumbled bacon, reserving a small amount for garnish.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves. Sprinkle with reserved bacon, additional smoked paprika, and chopped chives, if desired.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
