Ingredients
- 12 fresh strawberries (washed and dried completely)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or your preferred chocolate)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening
- 1/4 cup white chocolate (optional, for drizzling)
Instructions
- Wash and dry strawberries thoroughly. Ensure they are completely dry to avoid the chocolate from seizing.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
- Hold a strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering about 3/4 of the berry. Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- If desired, melt the white chocolate and drizzle over the dipped strawberries using a fork or piping bag.
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set. Serve chilled and enjoy!
