Creamy Beef Tips with Egg Noodles
A rich and creamy beef dish served over tender egg noodles, perfect for a hearty and comforting dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef stew meat and brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add flour to the skillet and stir for 1 minute to make a roux. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- Stir in heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Return the beef to the skillet and stir to coat. Simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes until the beef is tender and the sauce is creamy.
- Serve the creamy beef mixture over cooked egg noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.
